Pretty good hamburgers! And garlic fries are soo good! Shakes are meh..

This was my first time, so I ordered online to pick up. Website said to go to the pick up line and pay there and get my food but when I got there, there was only one line. I paid and then had to wait 7 minutes for my fries and onion rings. Onion rings were good, garlic fries??????Not so much. Too much garlic that just sits to the side, I could not even have the cheese that came with it since it stuck to the garlic. The environment was good though, cashier was friendly, cooks were busy, space to sit down and eat. Definitely not impressed by the garlic fries but I'll try this place again.

The food is really good overall. The shake was average. It reasonably priced since it's ~6 for each of the items I got which is good for the area that we are in. The burger was average. The garlic fries were pretty tasty and crispy with them being fresh. The wait wasn't bad for a weekday lunch.

I had the avocado burger with fries, I was surprised how good it was! I appreciate how I get to pick and choose which toppings go on my burger.

Order your burger at the counter and after it is delivered to your table, take it to the topping bar to load it however you like. The fries are nicely crispy with a slight crunch. I like the relative simplicity and slightly lower price than a full sit down burger restaurant. Service is quick and efficient. The bathroom is through the kitchen area which is odd.

The burger meat was super juicy even when well done (two thumbs up), but I unfortunately got a well done and burnt bun too. Sad that $7.39 for a cheeseburger doesn’t include fries, but that’s San Mateo pricing for ya. I liked the cool throwback vibe with the booths.

Burger Patty was pretty tasty. Overall overpriced considering you dress the burger yourself like a backyard BBQ. You select your burger, cheese and a couple other items, I added mushrooms. Cheeseburger is then delivered as seen below and you make your way to the prep-bar where you can place lettuce, onion, tomato, pickles and a few other options on to your liking. In my opinion this is just an average burger that isn't worth the price, if I'm going to indulge in a burger I'm going somewhere with better value and taste.

Reception needs to workout their communication with customers better place is great just needs better staff at the cashiers.

Solid burger place. The bacon burger was just right to fill me up, the buns were a little bit burnt but the fact that you can literally build your own burger after they cook the meat is a great option to help mask the taste of a like char. Got here early during lunch time, but when we were leaving it was filling up quick.

They grind their own hamburger and the milkshakes are full size,out side seating brought to your table .Very reliable.. papa D'

This location in San Mateo is nicely decorated. I've been there maybe 15 times and the food is always very fresh. This last time I had the Jeffrey's Signature salad with chicken and it is always fresh and delicious. The caesar salad with chicken is my dad's favorite. The hamburgers and patty melt were really good too. You should definitely go!

It made me feel at home and comfortable to be able to eat Jeffreys, it was nice to be outside. And my delicious cheeseburger made even more special.

A little expensive for what it is, but at least the place is really clean. The diner vibe is cool, but finding a place to sit definitely took a while. Food is average, nothing special what so ever about the burger. Also, this is more quick service than restaurant. You order at the counter and sit down with a number to have your food brought, rather than speaking to a server.

Hand ground beef, cooked medium rare as requested. Good menu selection. Clean, good staff
